The Green Madcaps, in their journey towards bringing justice and working for the rights of the poor, have often come across families living in poverty, yet determined that the children be educated. The current state of India’s inflation makes this quite a challenge, and often, the little that the breadwinners earn is often spent on food and bills, leaving little for education.
The Green Madcaps believe that education is a powerful means to alleviate poverty. Armed with suitable qualifications and the necessary experience, young members of a family can hope to get better jobs unlike their parents who may have, for lack of education, always remained in poorly-paying manual jobs.
We thus, as a group of friends, came together to support the education of four students so far, and the difference it makes made us wonder if we could reach out to more families.
You can join us in our endeavour. If you are interested in supporting the education of a child, write to us, call us, meet us. We will provide you the details and maybe even visit the families that you can help. In response to your kindness, we will keep you updated with the child’s performance, mark-sheets, their achievements.
It will also be useful if you can provide us details of available jobs for freshers and older people who are stuck in poorly-paying jobs and cannot leave them due to their family’s need.
